Central Park Boathouse Wedding : Paris & Nick : New York, NY
Paris & Nick were married in late Summer holding their wedding ceremony and reception at the Loeb Boathouse in Central Park. The boathouse has become to many one of the most iconic of NYC venues. You’re quite literally in the center of the park and all of Manhattan. Paris & Nick selected the equally notable Lotte New York Palace to get ready in and it really set the tone for the rest of the day. You’ll see I was particularly inspired with this couple to incorporate a lot of black and white giving them a sleek New York feel.

Ram's Head Inn Wedding : Kate & Lucien : Shelter Island, NY
While I live and breathe city weddings much of the year, I thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to go East to the Hamptons or a stone's throw further to the Ram's Head Inn on Shelter Island. In Manhattan you tend to have wedding timelines with precision to the second, but with each mile East you drive, you feel more and more at peace and what comes comes. We'll get to the ceremony on time - it's only a few minutes away. 15 minutes for portraits? No big deal. It's gorgeous everywhere. Everyone's in such a good mood. As you can expect, everyone hopes and prays for perfect weather on the wedding day. But I always contend that if it does rain, you'll get pictures you never would have otherwise. I love that Kate & Lucien were happy to roll with mother nature and ad libbed with an umbrella in the rain. Making our way to the Inn, the guests were super happy and in great spirits to be merry and celebrate.

Lotte NY Palace : Wedding Venue Spotlight : New York, NY
Lotte New York Palace Hotel is known to many a bride and groom for its iconic front courtyard and centralized Manhattan location making it a perfect spot for getting ready photos. Others still take advantage of its glorious ballroom for a grand wedding. Perhaps less known is the intimacy that the historic Landmark Mansion provides for a smaller NYC wedding. You can enjoy all the advantages that having a wedding in a full service New York hotel provides: experienced event staff, an on-site getting ready suite, numerous settings for portrait opportunities, and delicious cuisine options, without the need for a 200 person guest list.

Glen Arbor Golf Club Wedding : Anna & Barry : Bedford Hils, NY
Anna & Barry were married July 21, 2018 with a wedding ceremony at St Aloysius Church in New Canaan, CT followed by dinner and dancing at Glen Arbor Golf Club in Bedford Hills, NY. This was my first visit to Glen Arbor Golf Club and I found it to be absolutely stunning. The drive up into the woods feels like you're entering a secret compound - and ahead you're greeted with sprawling grounds surrounded by old trees and a beautiful lake. This combined with the storybook tent made for a joyous evening under the stars complete with a visit from a former president!

Liberty House Wedding : Maxi & Rory : Jersey City, NJ
Maxi & Rory were married July 28, 2018 with a ceremony and reception at Liberty House located in Liberty State Park of Jersey City, NJ. Is there a better way to cap off a summer wedding than with a firepit s'more cookout? I think not. Maxi & Rory got ready at the nearby Westin Jersey City before making their way to Liberty State Park for a first look. The weather kept us on our toes that day with one of those cloudless sky downpours... but thankfully everything calmed down by the time their ceremony was underway. Which, is a very good thing, considering there are hardly any more spectacular views of Manhattan than that from the back porch of The Liberty House, with its endless views of lower Manhattan.
