TriBeCa Rooftop Wedding : Lexi & Ivan : New York, NY
There is nothing like a loft wedding in the city. After getting ready at the The Millenium Hilton, Lexi and Ivan's wedding day festivities began with a ceremony in the ornate Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral on the Upper East Side. I love the gold tones tones throughout the space. Walking along cobblestone streets after the ceremony, we shot our portraits in the late afternoon light before going up to TriBeCa Rooftop. The contemporary Ron Ben Israel cake and Vali Band set the tone for a gorgeously decorated space. And of course, Lexi looked like a million bucks in her stunning Monique Lhuillier gown. Liberty House Wedding : Cynthia & Salvatore : Jersey City, NJ
This year I will visit the Liberty House four times to document weddings. Parked right in the middle of Liberty State Park, the view is spectacular. Cynthia and Sal know this especially well because they live a stone's throw away looking at the very same bit of skyline. Liberty House was the obvious choice.
We were blessed with truly perfect weather. Their touching sunset wedding ceremony with New York City in the background was etherial. One of my favorite pictures from the day is of Sal looking out towards Cynthia as she comes down the aisle. The striking late day light gives so much depth.
