Trump Soho Wedding : Jill & Aaron : New York, NY
It's not often that you get to be one of the first to shoot in a major new NY venue... Only a handful of weddings have occurred in this space and my friend Matt Rainey and I were ecstatic for the opportunity to shoot for Jill & Aaron at the brand new Trump Soho Hotel! A tremendously creative cake by Momofuku set the stage for first class cuisine by the Trump Soho and energetic tunes from the Artie Stuart Band. While the beautiful decor, space, and details made for an awesome setting, it's still the storytelling and interaction between people that drives our documentary coverage. There was no shortage of great moments and I'm proud to present some of them here.Enjoy!
Chart House Wedding : Jessica & Ryan : Weehawken, NJ
Jessica and Ryan's wedding was an absolute blast! Starting with the church ceremony in Hoboken, we went a few blocks over to the park to take photographs. The light was fantastic that day and I love the unique layout of the trees that we got to shoot around. Returning to the Chart House for the reception, I love the mood that can be captured in black and white with the picture window light flooding the dance floor.Special thanks to my friend Jeff Mosier for helping me cover this affair... some of his images are mixed in here.
